"Tender-Swooshstically" by Steven Ilchev, 2012

Tender-Swooshstically

/Steven Ilchev, 2012/
-------------------------------------------

You are too harmonious for life's seven seas,
Seven that seem seventy-seven to me but why,
Who'll ever know? I care not to find out because

Seeing this is every bit the same as holding you across
The multiplying seas, tender-swooshstically
And soberly inebriated to the core,

And blessing all my blessed inciting raindrop-diamonds
Of the protective writer's sword, O Sword, which takes me
To the howling wolvalicious prairie beyond glorified
Forevermore.

The Instinct That Fulfils by Steven Ilchev, 2012

The Instinct That Fulfils
/Steven Ilchev, 2012/

O how to love you,
I only know by instinct that fulfils
My quill and ink at every hour

That growing tendency to melt
Upon your sensitivity of bedded flowers
So perfect so ensconced

In lime-scented,toiling bosoms
Of emotional confinement liberating,
So sensual from wavy-haired fields...

...Of corn emancipated.
