"One Bird" (Theme of Everything's Everything) by Steven Ilchev, 2012

One Bird (Theme Of Everything's Everything)
By: Steven Ilchev, 2012

Not a moment too soon,
that hot-air balloon
of what we call ours,
the flight of loving's herons,
would take off
and off, it heralds the map of
vineyard routes on a day
so unshackled

So promising forthwith,
so taken with bubbles
forever blown
and expressed on a canvass
by sharers unknown
of the undeniable unsettling
down there where dots join
and adjourn all the fretting

Binocular wishbones,
the shooting of stars,
champagne supernova
and blizzards, mudslides
defining and rummaging whatever
it seems,
beachwalk-aiding bagpipes
theme-crawling union of dreams

And when it all replays for aeons unforeseen,
it all elucidates all that has been
so whole, so rewarding, the picture of you,
the soulmate whose soothing effect hollers true!

"Get Well, Lovely Monkey" by Steven Ilchev, 2012

Get Well, Lovely Monkey!
[Steven Ilchev, 2012]

Dedicated to my precious daughter
-------------------------------------------------
Get well, lovely monkey,
I love you more and more
You look at me kindly,
I don't know what for!

You have so much life and heart
That we all

couldn't store in a life-time
If we put life on hold

And it is infectious,
Your genuine smile,
Your eye-twinkle rhapsody
That journeys for miles

Please know that you have
My arms when you're down
Together with mummy
We'll keep you on safe ground

For precious sweet monkeys
Must feel all content,
Growing freely and longing
For giggles heaven-sent

I love you, o Monkey,
A wonderful child,
I'm rooting for you
And I sense you have smiled.

"How Many Days Until Tomorrow?" by Steven Ilchev, 2012

How Many Days Until Tomorrow?
Steven Ilchev, 2012

Inspired by my beautiful daughter on Christmas Eve, 2012
==============================

How many days until tomorrow?
'Til every church-bell chimes our souls,
Until it all re-emphasises Christmas,
And every sparkle photographs winterfalls?

Until the sprinkling, tender souffle
Of the season's delicate little touch,
Like child's play innocently rumbles
And tumbles as if to curl so much

Around the homes of slight contentment
While skies they fade to whiteness mean,
Economic temperatures and boiling kettles
Correspond, so we have seen

And when I think of more tomorrows,
How many days until the following one?
How many huggles 'til we giddily wallow,
Not santising any fun?

How many match-sticks 'til flaming ball-points
Sky-autograph crimson dreamlands,
How many ice-skates to engrave us,
Initialled in the youthful trance?

For what time flies, it never withers
The playful you and the ones you teach
For what time strides, it never dithers,
It's timeless like your evergreen speech!

"Tender-Swooshstically" by Steven Ilchev, 2012

Tender-Swooshstically

/Steven Ilchev, 2012/
-------------------------------------------

You are too harmonious for life's seven seas,
Seven that seem seventy-seven to me but why,
Who'll ever know? I care not to find out because

Seeing this is every bit the same as holding you across
The multiplying seas, tender-swooshstically
And soberly inebriated to the core,

And blessing all my blessed inciting raindrop-diamonds
Of the protective writer's sword, O Sword, which takes me
To the howling wolvalicious prairie beyond glorified
Forevermore.

The Instinct That Fulfils by Steven Ilchev, 2012

The Instinct That Fulfils
/Steven Ilchev, 2012/

O how to love you,
I only know by instinct that fulfils
My quill and ink at every hour

That growing tendency to melt
Upon your sensitivity of bedded flowers
So perfect so ensconced

In lime-scented,toiling bosoms
Of emotional confinement liberating,
So sensual from wavy-haired fields...

...Of corn emancipated.

"You Are Way Too... You Know" by Steven Ilchev

You Are Way Too... You Know!
/Steven Ilchev, 2011/

You know you are special,
Too stunning for music...
Too sensual for oceans,
Too musical for poetry...

Too invigorating for rivulets intricately crisscrossing...
Ski-slalom paths "who"'ve known no snowfest lyricised;
Too crazy for hardcore sanity,
Too sane for headbang-gliding

Enormously magnanimous, too elegant for brisk tongue-elasticity;
Too fresh for new orchards, too wise for grey beards;
So kindly enclosed in a cosy dwelling
Giving all the most scorching shivers...

You just are way too...
...And you know who you are!

England Is Not For Everybody (But For Those Who Know Her All The Way) by Steven Ilchev /2011/

England Is Not For Everybody (But For Those Who Know Her All The Way)

by Steven Ilchev /2011/

Dedicated to the many decent souls who suffered unspeakably
severe losses during the August 2011 disturbances throughout
our green and pleasant land

Sickening Maggotland, flaming and stenchworthy,
With steadfast values flushed down the plumbhole
Eroded, contributory souls massacred by orchestrated stealth,
Welcome to the bloody 'England' of the barren wealth!
